M.A. Martin Kloda

Pochází z Ostravy, architekturu studoval na přelomu 80. a 90. let na pražské UMPRUM v atelieru prof. Zdeňka Kuny, po revoluci u prof. Martina Rajniše. Během studia absolvoval stáže na Vídeňské Hochschule fur Angewandte Kunst Wien u prof. J. Spalta a v Atelieru veškerého sochařství prof. Kurta Gebauera. Architektonickou praxí prošel v atelierech D.A.Studio a e-MRAK. V roce 2012 založil atelier ARCHWERK architektonická huť, který se kromě „velké“ architektury věnuje návrhům a provádění vlastních experimentálních staveb.

Téma kvality městského prostředí jej provází po celou dobu praxe a přivedlo jej k doktorském studiu na FA ČVUT a praktické spolupráci s Kanceláří Metropolitního plánu na Institutu plánování a rozvoje Prahy (IPR), ČKA, Radou architektů města Liberce a kanceláří prvního náměstka primátora hlavního města Prahy doc. Ing. arch. Petra Hlaváčka.

Martin Kloda was born on May 8, 1969 in Ostrava. From 1987 to 1993 he studied architecture at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, in the atelier of prof. Ing. Arch. Zdenek Kuna, since 1990 prof. Ing. Arch. Martin Rajniš. During his studies he completed internships at the Vienna Hochschule fur Angewandte Kunst Wien in the atelier of prof. Spalt and prof. Kurt Gebauer´s Atelier of All Sculpture in Prague. He get his practice in architectural offices D.A.Studio and e-MRAK. In 2012, he founded studio ARCHWERK the architectural workshop. Besides architectural practice, he studies in the doctoral program at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University (FA ČVUT) and publishes texts focusing on the current development of cities and the influence of buildings on the formation of public space. Since 2017, he has been working with the Metropolitan Plan Office at the Institute for Planning and Development of Prague (IPR). He is a member of the Board of Architects of the City Liberec. He is an adviser to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague doc. Ing. Petr Hlaváček.
